Yesterday was all about food!
Well, it is like that everyday!
@divinekids Little Miss shared how her day went yesterday. She had a great time and me too of course.
It was the birthday of my colleague and we prepared a surprise treat for her.
For lunch at the office, we had pizza, home made dark chocolate cake and an Arabic sweet, Meshaltet (layered pastry) or kraft honey as as we normally call it.
It did not end there because in the evening, after work, we enjoyed a very sumptuous buffet of Filipino foods. Maybe I was living under the rocks as I was not aware of this restaurant (at least this branch).
Being a financial advisor, the birthday girl took the chance to make a short Road to Financial Freedom presentation to the people who were there.
The restaurant crew even did a very entertaining dance number!
Actually, the place may just be a great venue for the next Steemit Meet and Greet event
I know we are planning for Juancho's Billiards and Asian Cuisine as the venue, but Pinoy Lomi House is giving me second thoughts...
The function room is nice, clean and convenient for a presentation-type of get together. Not to mention, the food is great and less expensive.
We still have enough time before the meet up. We will definitely keep you posted should we decide to shift to this venue. 😉
