Some don't have food,
others don't have mothers."
Adobo is a popular dish and cooking process in Philippine cuisine which has sometimes been considered as the unofficial national dish in the Philippines because of its easiness when it comes to preparation, its popularity that even foreigners craved for and its long storage life due to its main ingredients such as soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic.
I have heard and read several remarks from foreigners around the globe who happened to marry our Filipinas or just having friends from the Philippines and even those who happened to experience Filipino cuisine stated that the best Filipino dish that could boost your appetite and cravings is the Philippine adobo along with having a charmed life with Filipinos or Filipinas. It's presented as chicken adobo or pork adobo and others opted to put some boiled eggs as its finishing touch. It is also commonly prepared during feast, birthdays and special holidays. You can't say that adobo has a particular taste, for every household has their own tried-and-tested recipe and their own way of cooking.
