Lately my Girlfriend has gone riiiiight off the deep end with a passion for food foraging. Dandelion salads are now a regular part of our diet.
Being a part of many of these food finding adventures with her I've been amazed and just how much food there is hiding in plain sight on the big blue and green ball of ours.
This afternoon snack on a recent camping trip was made up of:
Bower Spinach and Samphire (found along the shoreline), spicy hummus and avocado (found in the produce isle), paired with a bottle of Josef Chromy Pepik Pinot Noir.
Both plants are both quite fresh and salty (makes sense growing by the ocean...) and when mixed with the creamy avocado and hummus are pretty bloody delicious!
Disclaimer: Don't get inspired and start going around eating every plant you see... you may die

Shawn Achor's "The Happiness Advantage" taught me the power of gratitude
Let's spread some across Steemit! If you want to comment but don't know what to say, just tell me 3 things you’re grateful for today and why. If you’re struggling to come up with ideas try:
- Something temporary (your coffee, the sunshine)
- A person
- An object
Practice what I preach. Today I'm grateful for:
