Chinatown
The trip continues with some amazing food. We went to a place called Opal Thai for some of the best thai food I've had. Chef Opal was a lot of fun and gave us quite the experience. As he came over tossed our menus out of our hands and asked what kind of food we like. Lime? Cilantro? Chicken, beef, duck? Do we like spicy? Then he ran to the back to prepare some dishes. He brought out spicy glazed chicken wings and a ground chicken lettuce wrap as our appetizers which were both delicious! For our entrees we got a roast duck curry (amazing) and shrimp drunken noodles.
I thought the food was spectacular and there wasn't a bite left over.
Exploring chinatown a little more I ran into some shops and looked at the local produce. I picked up a papaya and a mango for the road, and decided to skip the frogs.
Dinner
Dinner for date night was at the Top of Waikiki where we split the steak because we were still a bit full from Opal's Thai. The steak was great and the mashed potatoes were fantastic. On our way back to our hotel we stopped by the Tesla store to play around.
The cars feel like a video game and I'd love to grab a cheaper used model 3 some time in the future!
