For today’s entry, I would like to feature the wonderful insta-worthy venue that accommodated our newbies and organizers during our recent hive on-boarding seminar. That’s R&R Urban Cafe!
R&R’s Dedicated Passion
More than the generosity and premium service and food that we received from R&R Urban Cafe, what really stands out is the dedication and passion that comes from sustaining and maintaining a gourmet local cafe, competing with big brands operating within the city, and now operating from Mondays to Saturdays during this most challenging time of the Covid-19 pandemic.
While most local cafes in metro Cebu have closed and laid off its employees, R&R Urban Cafe managed to thrive despite the odds and just recently, they even launched new offerings to expand their menu.
I was so lucky to be one of the first to try and relish their new menu dishes during our hive on-boarding seminar. The newbies and organizers enjoyed them so much that most of them posted entries featuring the yummy gourmet dishes (with a dash of Filipino) in their hive blog entries the following days.
R&R Urban Cafe Dishes
This dedication and passion from the management and staff of R&R Urban Cafe lingers and overwhelms the taste, aroma, and visuals of all its food and drink offerings.
Even before launching its new menu, the Cafe was known for its gourmet pastry and savory dishes that pair well with its unique roasts of coffee and tea as well as its mix of sweet frappes and smoothies.

Their menu itself offers a wide variety of options for different palettes. There are pastas, pies and cheesecakes for the European inclined, sandwiches and burgers for the American, and of course signature Filipino-cebuano rice dishes paired with your choice portions of local meat and protein.
Breakfast Omelet with White Rice
My personal favorite was the chorizo and bangus rice plate, which I paired perfectly with the more American Tuna, Cheese, and Tomato sandwich.
Other than these, R&R Urban Cafe offers a rich variety of breakfast plate offerings which you can pair with either white rice or potato fries or even with brown rice for the health-conscious.
Choices can range from Filipino sizzling sisig or Tocino to the more western Breakfast omelet and buffalo wings.

I can assure you an unforgettable gustatory experience at R&R Urban Cafe. The staff and management are uniquely friendly and accommodating. Their manager (Leah) was particularly helpful during our visit. And more importantly, all these are priced reasonably despite the quality of ingredients and the unparalleled customer service.

As far as I know, there is no R&R Urban Cafe in Hungary. Although there is UrbanFood Cafe & Coworking in Budapest.
