Once Again Brazil

For the first time in the US hosted the FIFA World Cup. The final match of this world cup was thrilled, because it ended in a penalty shootout. Despite the extra time between Italy and Brazil, the result was equal. And then Brazil beat Italy 3-2 in the penalty shoot-out, and won the championship. With this, Brazil became the first country to win this trophy four times. Sweden won the third place by defeating Bulgaria 4-0.

The three countries of Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and Egypt have participated in the World Cup for the first time.
