The Nigerian home-based squad took a late victory over Angola yesterday to book a semi-final ticket at African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The Super Eagles came back from a one goal down running half time game to secure a win over Angola Sunday night in Tangiers.
The first half score line read 0-0 as both teams played a nice game with good scoring chances but none secured any. The second half was more promising with Angola taking the lead with a fine finish.
While the eagles kept pushing and finally struck a goal at the 91st minute, with the Nigerian striker Anthony Okpotu netting an equalizer.
With the game stretching into extra time, Gabriel Okechuckwu made a swell finish to give the home-based Eagles the victory.
