Before the commencement of the match between Nigeria and Croatia, a neighbour already predicted that we would lose the match as he felt the super eagles came to showcase their "aso ebi" not to play.

He gave out some safety tips to those who already bought the Nigerian football jersey (both fake and original), those who have made a bet with others against Croatia, those who borrowed money to power their generator and others who invested a lot in the match.
He encouraged them to eat before going to watch the the match so that they would not lose their appetite after, then they should avoid taking bottled drinks to watch the match so that they would not be tempted to break it on some people's head...
Well, just as he predicted, Nigeria lost her match. While I was going through twitter, I saw some statements that really cracked me up. Check them out.

Lol.....@chiknows, you really did a good job by putting this together, it was a good comic relief. But on a serious note, this world cup has really been full if suprises, it has really shown that no team is a small team,( well maybe with exception of two...Saudi and Nija)

Geez! This is really funny. After watching them score the first time, i stopped watching. Abeg, that match was a comedy.
Lol...same here... i didn't even waste my time saying i should go and watch the match so as to prevent heart break....NIGERIA team can only get better if the so called officials of the team would bring out time and go to the streets to find young talented boys, stop doing this connection of a thing in the football club, it will not take them anywhere
