If your goal is to achieve muscle hypertrophy and train for one to two hours intensively, we recommend including water, easy to digest proteins and a minimum of sugars that stimulate the synthesis of muscle proteins after training.

In addition, the ideal is to consume these nutrients between 30 minutes and 2 hours after the effort.

  • 1 glass of milk and ripe banana 
  • 1 glass of milk with a spoonful of cocoa. 
  • Orange juice with a measure of protein powder. 
  • 1 yogurt with oatmeal and honey.

As we have said, if you are looking to burn fat the ideal is not to consume solid foods that provide energy immediately after training, but it is advisable to drink plenty of water.

After 60 to 120 minutes from the end of the training, it is advisable to consume foods that are not easily digested, in order to let the body continue to use fats as an energy source.

So, some advisable preparations for after training if you are looking to burn fat are:

  • 1 apple with skin 1 yogurt skimmed with fresh fruits. 
  • 1 glass of skimmed milk with 5 nuts or 10 almonds. 
  • 30 grams of sunflower seeds 
  • 1 glass of skim milk with oats without added sugar. 
  • 1/2 sandwich of whole grain bread with fresh low fat cheese and tomato.
