Good afternoon friends of Steemit, today I want to give you my opinion about how football will be in the near future or in a few years. Many people passionate about football think that it will be the same sport as always (obviously) but there is something that personally, will change a lot. We are in the year 2017 and we realize that football (in its majority) is being associated a lot with current marketing, how? Well, football teams are more dedicated to selling shirts or buying reputable players simply to get publicity and forget something fundamental: Playing football with players who sweat the shirt.
I make this article the same week that PSG lost against newly promoted Strasbourg 2-1. The most curious thing? The modest group in its staff has a value of 20 million euros, while the PSG sum 402 million between Kylian Mbappé and Neymar Jr. We all know that it is the first game that PSG loses, but maybe the teams in the future think more about buying stars than playing football, which is something serious since you lose that magic and passion for the most beautiful sport in the world . Modern football is based on the marketing of players, at this time a player of 17-18 years makes a good match and people already value it at 100 million, and that is wrong as it harms both the player and football, by overvaluing both situations, by overestimating one thing and having high expectations and then not fulfilling them, comes the failure of a career.
What we are going for, the question is: What will football be like in a few years? For personally and as it is progressing everything and now that we live, unfortunately I see a football that is based a lot on marketing. FIFA will collaborate in this and corruption will be seen in favoring the teams with the highest income and over-valued players. Teams like Real Madrid, PSG, Barcelona, Manchester City, will have players of great renown and the money will stand out in this case. Players who come out of nowhere young will play several good games and it will be said that their value is 200 million euros and much more. Personally I want clean and fair football, that each team plays with the heart and not the wallet, warrior teams that know how to play good football and is based in the quarry, of course, players must also be bought, but with reasonable prices and not exaggerated prices.
To conclude I hope and I'm wrong and football is still the same as before, and not like today, because it will always be the most beautiful sport in the world, where we live emotions and passions in the field or the stands. It was a personal opinion of how I see football in some years and it is living the reality of today, a football with money in between and a FIFA that favors all this.
