So what do you expect when you get the highest score of the week in the #hivefpl head to head fantasy football league? to win right? thats it, unless your opponent ends up with the exact same score....
I did move up 11 places in the Hive FPL though so not all is lost, sitting in 31st of the 82 players, although still 79 points off top!
I had thought I had it sewn up on Saturday, but my opponent pulled it back with 27 points from his Liverpool selections (VVD and Salah) at least i didnt lose to a sending off, although i had wasted my triple captain on Haaland so it feels like a loss, how did he miss that chance???
What do I change this week? to be honest even though I have a lot of yellow on the board I don't think I want to change anything, all look like winnable games for the players, no one playing against each other (which probably cost me last week with Arsenal/Liverpool)
If Gabriel or Gvaridol don't start I have Guehi against Wolves to step in (thanks @tengolotodo for the tip!)
Good luck to everyone this week
Real World Premier League Football
As for the real Premier League I will be hoping for a win at the city ground as the mighty reds take on the hammers, our head to head record since the return to the premier league is w2 l2 (two wins and two clean sheets at home).
We go into the match with a couple of injury worries from the team that beat Leicester City 3-1 at the king power stadium last week, three of which are in the key position behind Chris Wood - Gibbs-White, Anderson and Jota Silva who can all play there are carrying knocks.
Ward-Prowse is parent club tied so wont be available, but at least Taiwo Awoniyi's record of 2 in 2 home games gives us some history if Chris Wood doesn't make it.
Our Brazilian defensive star, Murillo, added another couple of million to his January price tag with a call up to the national team, so hope he plays his part today alongside the signing of the season Nikola Milenkovic and keeps the hammers out for a third time in three home matches since our return to the premier league.
I also hope that the premier league manager/player of the month curse doesnt strike us with Nuno, Wood and Sels all nominated for awards!
I am guessing being a Forest fan you are Tricky Trees! Well I do hope Wood starts I always had a soft spot for Forest back in the good old days of football, any club that achieved what you guys did in Europe is admirable!
Hopefully those glory days can return (well at least a top half finish!)
I am a Rangers fan and know our glory days are past us, the Premier League and TV money killed that. But yeah a top half or even get into Europe would be good.
