Zinedine Zidane withdrew from Real Madrid coach seat.

Zinedine Zidane took the surprise decision to resign the coach of Real Madrid after leading the club to Champions League victory in three consecutive seasons.

"I love this club and the president who gave me the opportunity to play at the club and handle my dream club," Zidane said in an impromptu press conference at the Santiago Bernabeu on Thursday (31/5).

"But things have changed and that's why I decided to leave the club," Zidane was quoted as saying by the Independent.

This shocking decision was taken Zidane five days after delivering Madrid won the Champions League title to 13 or three consecutive by beating Liverpool 3-1 in the final in Kiev, Ukraine on Saturday (26/5).

Zidane claimed to have told Sergio Ramos and his friends related to the decision to leave Madrid. Zidane also admitted the weight must leave the Santiago Bernabeu in his career as a coach is still at the top.

"Skuat already know I do not talk to them all one by one, but they already know I have talked with captain Sergio Ramos," said Zidane.

"There are a lot of wonderful moments, ending the moment by winning a third Champions League title, but there's also a tough moment, I think it's a good time, I think the players need a change," Zidane continued.

A number of names have emerged to replace Zidane in Madrid, starting from Antonio Conte, Arsene Wenger, and Guti Hernandez.
