The Wednesday night starts with a match between Manchester City and Basel. The match is just a formality after City won 4-0 in the first round. Now City will look to strengthen their advantage.

The Citizens: City are dominating in the Premier League and will almost surely win the Premier League. Even if Basel had avoided such a thrashing, they would likely have had a huge task ahead of them at the Etihad in any case. After drawing against Everton here in their first home match of the season, they have since won 20 home matches in a row in all competitions.
