On Thursday Zidane, the head coach and manager of Real Madrid called for an emergency press conference. Big news was expected. However, things turned side ways and the news that came out was exactly what every madrista dreaded. Zidane called for the press conference to announce his resignation. Given Madrid’s bad run in LaLiga and copa del Rey, it was assumed that zidane’s position all depended on the champions league trophy. Madrid did end up creating history by winning the title and zidane became the first manage to win it thrice consecutively. All seemed like wonderland. Then zidane decided to step down to allow change. This news has shocked everyone. It’s now time to see who will the next manager be. Hopefully Madrid are able to keep their good run and win more trophies in the next season as well. Halamadrid!
