Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson, who's recently celebrated his 50th goal for the club, deservedly received his England call-up. 26-year-old is set to join Gareth Southgate’s squad ahead of upcoming matches against USA and Croatia.
Wilson is doing exceptionally well this season, scoring 6 goals in 11 EPL games. Such result makes him alongside with Harry Kane and Glenn Murray the high-scoring Englishman in the league. Great news for the player, who’s first international cap was simply a matter of time:
Meanwhile, Southgate also re-called Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Michael Keane as well as veteran striker Wayne Rooney is set to play his farewell 120th cap against USA despite retiring from international football in 2016.
