England's boss Gareth Southgate has announced his 23-man squad for the upcoming World Cup in Russia, which kicks-off in less than a month's time, and although there where no major surprises, there where some decisions that raised a few eyebrows.

Both veteran goalkeeper Joe Hart & Arsenal's injury prone midfielder Jack Wilshere have been left out of both the 23-man and stand-by lists, with young stars Trent Alexander-Arnold (who will be playing in the Uefa Champions League final in a few days) & Ruben Loftus-Cheek both included in the 23-man squad.

The 3 Lions have been drawn in group G, along Belgium, Tunisia & Panama. They kick off their World Cup campaign vs Tunisia on the 18th of June.

Here are England's 23-man & stand-by squad's in full :

Southgate is doing a very good joob, it is good for me that he is getting young players in Russia.

He's done ok so far, but England always does well in qualifiers and then when the real thing arrives things change completely for the worse. But i agree with you on the young players part, it could be a good thing as they will have more hunger for success.
