WELCOME TO THE 2017 UEFA SUPER CUP:
MANCHESTER UNITED VS REAL MADRID
Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have been included in Real Madrid's squad to face Manchester United in the UEFA Super Cup.
Ronaldo has not played in pre-season thus far, but could feature against his former club, though he only returned to training last weekend.
Ronaldo returns to action against the club where he made his name in Macedonia this week.
Bale, meanwhile, has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League, as the Spanish giants attempt to sign Kylian Mbappe from Monaco.
Bale struggled with injury last season, appearing just 19 times in La Liga, but he scored seven goals.
Bale has subsequently been mooted as a potential target for United, though Jose Mourinho has attempted to distance himself from any bid.

BARCELONA 5-0 CHAPECOENSE
Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez both scored in their first match without Neymar, as Barcelona eased to a 5-0 win over Chapecoense in the Joan Gamper Trophy.
Gerard Deulofeu, who was playing from Neymar’s position, opened scoring for the La Liga side.
Sergio Busquets superb long-range effort found the top corner, before Messi and Suarez made it 4-0.
Denis Suarez then came off the bench to round off scoring, as Ernesto Valveder continues to prepare his team for Sunday’s Supercopa de Espana first leg against Real Madrid.
Chapecoense were chosen as Barca’s opponents for their traditional curtain raiser, in honour of the people – including 19 players – who died when the Brazilian club’s plane crashed en route to the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana final against Atletico Nacional last November.
CONGRATULATIONS TO BARCELONA
