TRANSFER ACTIVITIES AND BUSINESSES STILL CONTINUE TO HAPPEN !!!
Transfer activities continue to heat, to hit and to hot up as deals keep happening. Clubs have continued to sell and buy players in preparation for the new season. Clubs are also on their pre-season training, as the new seasons draw nearer! There are also pre-season matches here and there.
Join us as our discussions continue today as always.

Finally, congratulations to the Premier League Champions, the blues!
Chelsea FC have agreed a 60 million pounds deal to sign striker Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid. The deal is now subject to agreeing personal terms with the player and passing a medical, according to the club. The Spanish striker is expected to finally lead the line for Chelsea in the coming season consequent upon the fact that there seems to be no way back to the club for estranged striker Diego Costa. He will become Chelsea FC’s fourth signing of the summer after goalkeeper Willy Caballero, defender Antonio Rudiger and and midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Meanwhile talking strikers’ signings for the premier league top clubs, despite refusing to sell Sergio Aguero and having Gabriel Jesus, Manchester City have not given up their dreams of landing Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez. Tottenham remain unchanged in attack and are raring to go, Manchester United have added Romelu Lukaku upfront and want to add more, and Chelsea are bringing in Alvaro Morata. But then Liverpool are still relying on their 19 year old new signing from Chelsea. Dominic Solanke as the new striker they have signed.
DO LIVERPOOL WANT TO BE CONTENDERS, OR PRETENDERS FOR THE TOP FOUR NEXT SEASON?

TODAY’S MAIN DISCUSSION:
We will be comparing the three new strikers that will possibly be leading the line at three of the premier league top clubs, ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE (for Arsenal), ROMELU LUKAKU (for Manchester United)AND ALVARO MORATA (for Chelsea). We will be examining the deals and asking who got the best possible deal, and the worst possible deal too.
About 15 million pounds separate each of the deals. (45 million pounds, 60 million pounds, and 75 million pounds). At 45 million pounds, Lacazette is about 15 million pounds less than the Morata deal, and Morata is also about 15 million pounds less than the Lukaku deal. Sequel to that, while Lacazette is 26 years old, both Morata and Lukaku are 24 years old each. Lacazette is a wonderful goalscorer whose success in France will be tested in the premier league. He is also French and seems to share that bond with Frenchman Arsene Wenger. Romelu Lukaku has proven that he can score lots of goals in England, even if he did not score regularly against top clubs and seems well suited to the type of strong and powerful strikers Jose Mourinho prefers. He has also continued to improve his goals return year after year. In any case, he has not had the experience of a successful performance at a big club yet, and has yet to play the Champions league. Morata on his part is very intelligent, good in the air and has proven to be a wonderful goalscorer too. He has also played at the biggest stage, including the Champions League finals and brings with him, some strong love and loyalty to Antonio Conte too. However, he does not have any premier league experience.
There is a twist however. It seems as if there is an inversion on two of the deals. It appears that Romelu Lukaku was Chelsea’s first choice before Manchester United swooped in and signed him (after Chelsea was trying to get him for much lower than Everton’s asking price). It also seemed that Alvaro Morata was Manchester United’s first choice before Real Madrid refused to sell to them for anything lower than 75 million pounds (much less than they later sold to Chelsea). So maybe we are seeing two strikers that may have been at these rival clubs.
QUESTION:

  1. WITHOUT BIAS OR CLUB AFFILIATIONS AND CONSIDERING EVERYTHING, WHO DO YOU POSSIBLY THINK GOT THE BEST OF THE THREE DEALS, AND WHO DO YOU THINK GOT THE WORST, AND WHY?
  2. WHICH OF THE THREE WOULD YOU PREFER AS YOUR STRIKER AND WHY?

Pre-season friendly matches have continued too. Arsenal finally beat Bayern Munich yesterday, Paris Saint German beat AS Roma, Liverpool beat Crystal Palace, and Leicester City beat Westbrom.
Tonight features the Manchester Derby between Manchester United and Manchester City!
IN THE NEWS...

  1. French club Paris saint Germain are still willing to trigger Barcelona and Brazil star Neymar's release clause of €222m (£196m), pay a signing on fee of £45m and offer a five-year deal worth £596,000 a week after tax.
  2. Jose Mourinho has insisted he is "not interested" that Alvaro Morata is set to sign for Chelsea, but hinted he needs another striker this summer.
  3. Liverpool are closing in on a 10 million pounds deal to sign Andrew Robertson from Hull City, to provide competition to makeshift leftback James Milner.
