This is a small shelter in the middle of a forest. I found this place by pure accident about 8 years ago. I roamed into a forest for half an hour and ended up finding this. Now it only takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get there since I'm older and know a better path to use. It is or has been used by hunters. Now I think I'm the only one who ever goes there.
A small, secret shelter in the middle of nowhere. You will never see another human close to this place which is really nice.
The surrounding nature is also beautiful, I think.
I made a fire from wood that I brought here last winter. I had to almost literally swim through the snow all the way to get here. That was quite hard. It was much easier now without the snow and without the equipment.
I went to explore deeper into the forest. I had heard that a wolf pack was spotted around here 2 weeks ago. I could only find moose and deer tracks. In retrospect, that might have been a good thing. I was 25 minutes away from the nearest road after all and probably wouldn't have wanted to face a pack of wild wolves anyway.
Got back home safe and sound to enjoy some salt liquorice chocolate.
