Unpack for Peace
If you want to travel far and fast, then travel light. Unpack all of your envies, jealousies, unforgiveness, revenges and fears. Be the first to forgive. Without forgiveness, life is governed by an endless cycle of resentment and retaliation. Think about it: is there anything as pathetic to behold as a person who has harbored a grudge and hatred for many years?
What really matters is what happens in us not to us. "He who has not forgiven an enemy has never yet tasted one of the most sublime enjoyments of life," declares Johann Lavater. Forgiveness releases you and creates freedom. One of the secrets of a long and fruitful life is to forgive everybody everything every night before you go to bed. Forgiving those who have wronged you is a key to personal peace. It is far better to forgive and forget than to hate and remember. Unforgiveness blocks blessings, forgiveness releases blessings. Forgiveness won't change the past, but it will enlarge the future. Don't burn bridges. You'll be surprised how many times you have to cross over that same river. You'll "start your day on the right foot" if you ask yourself everyday, "Who do I need to forgive?"
No matter what, find a space in your comfort zone "Your Heart" to forgive and have comfort devoid of any unpleasant issues.
