Hi guys. I'm back from Iceland! I have so much stuff to share from our trip, but there will be plenty of time for that. In the mean time, we've got a Forgotten Friday to tend to! Today's episode is going to be about a few filming locations from The Walking Dead all around Senoia, Georgia.... also known as "Woodbury" on the show. I was working at the Georgia Aquarium a few years ago, and when I was off the clock, I decided to hit a few of the film sets. Most were genuine old structures around town.
^^^ These silos and structures are seen during the opening title sequence of the show. They were also the location for the meeting between Rick Grimes and The Governor. Also, I should note that most of these aren't really going to be great photos. They were mostly taken from my car window with my cell phone as I drove past. I didn't have a lot of time.
^^^This wall is also seen during the opening title sequence. It is from the town that Morgan took over when he was all crazy and setting up boobytraps. In the show, he had a stack of zombie bodies in there that he was burning.
^^^Lastly, this abandoned warehouse was used for the Governor's weird zombie fighting game/show in Woodbury. I'm not exactly sure what the real building was used for.
Thanks for checking out this week's Forgotten Friday. It's great to be back, Steemit!

I think I saw today that a stuntman for walking dead missed a cushion and died today @customnature :(
Geez, I just read about it. That's terrible...
