Statements that sound like something you have heard before accompanied by stock photos make any amount of prattling text seem credible. Sincerity as implied with a photo of the authors face or any kind looking eyes make they reader feel like then know the author and can trust them. Trust is what makes things true. Walter Cronkite showing us actors on a moonscape makes you think that man can leave the planet. George Bush saying that our countries action will bring about “a new world order” brings a feeling of hope. A photo of anything means that what you are reading is corroborated with indisputable evidence.
Let me misquote some shit I half listened to on NPR as my own research.
A bank in Africa wanted more Africans to borrow its Africa money so It can make some interest as banks tend to do. The bank printed two sets of flyers one set with the usual crap about borrowing is awesome or something and another with that same pitch plus a picture of a smiling woman.
That lady looks relatable able right? I want a loan right now! Now look how awesome that worked out for the bank. They got hella more people to enter the dept cycle and prosper!
What about something you recognize but is a little bit scholarly? Does that make you feel smart?
Felling smarter is being smarter according to a seminar I attended at a resort in a tropical place. The guy had a white linen shirt and pants. Like this stock photo of a probably real enlightened dude doing some sustainable karate at the ocean.
Some people have a short attention span and can't read an article without the pictures.
It's hard to type and laugh the same time but reading these articles is some dry formulaic toast and I can't help poke fun at what I see. I know I am not doing anything better myself so I am going to keep lampooning this thing using T.A.L., and acronym I learned from out beach Tai Chi friend from two pics up. The Acronem is Typical Asshole Logic.
Goon night folks
