Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 1
Alif laam miim.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 2
This Book (of the Qur'an) has no doubt on him; guidance for those who fear Allah,

Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 3
(ie) those who believe in the unseen, who establish the prayer, and spend out of the sustenance which We bestow upon them.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 4
and those who believe in the Book (the Qur'an) that has been sent down to you and the Books that have been revealed before you, and they are convinced of the Hereafter.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 5
Those are the ones who are guided by their Lord, and they are the ones who are lucky.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 6
Surely the disbelievers are the same to them, you warn them or warn not, they will not believe.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 7
God has locked their hearts and hearing, and their visions are closed. And for them a very severe punishment.

Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 8
Among the people there are those who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day," on their behalf they are not really believers.

Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 9
They want to deceive Allah and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves while they are unconscious.

Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 10
In their hearts there is sickness, and God added their sickness; and for them a painful punishment, for they lie.

Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 11
And when it is said to them: "Thou shalt not corrupt the earth". They said: "We are the ones who make improvements."

Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 12
Remember, they are the ones who make mischief, but they are not aware.

Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 13
When it is said to them: "Believe you as others have believed". They replied: "Will we believe as those fools have believed?" Remember, they are fools; but they do not know.

Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 14
And when they meet the believers they say: We believe! And when they return to their demons, they say: "We are surely with you, we are only mocking".

Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 15
Allah will mock them and let them wander in their error.

Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 16
They are the ones who purchase error with guidance, so their business is not lucky and they are not guided.

Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 17
Their similitude is like a man who kindled a fire, then after the fire illuminated around him Allah took away their light, and left them in the darkness, unable to see.

Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 18
They are deaf, dumb and blind, then they will not return (to the right path),

Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 19
or like (heavy rain) from the sky with dark pitch, thunder and lightning; they plugged their ears with their fingers, because (the sound of lightning) lightning, for fear of death. And Allah covers the disbelievers.

Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 20
Almost the flash grabbed their sight. Every time the light shines on them, they walk in the light, and when the darkness hits them, they stop. If Allah wills, He will remove their hearing and their sight. Allah is Able to do all things.

Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 21
O mankind! Worship thy Lord, Who created thee and those before thee, that thou mayest ward off (evil)

Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 22
It is He Who has made the earth a banner for you and the sky as a roof, and He sends down water from the sky, and it yields its fruits as sustenance for you. So do not set up associates with Allah, but you know.

Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 23
And if you remain in doubt about the Quran that We have revealed to Our servant, make a single such Qur'an and call upon your helpers other than Allah, if you are truthful.

Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 24
So if you can not make it and you can not make it, guard yourselves from the Fire which fuel man and stone, which is reserved for the disbelievers.

Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 25
And give glad tidings to those who believe and do good, that for them there will be gardens flowing rivers in them. Each time they are given a provision of fruits in the gardens, they say: "This is what was given us before." They are given the same fruits and for them there are holy wives and they will abide therein.

Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 26
Indeed Allah does not hesitate to make a parable of a mosquito or a lower one. As for the believers, they are convinced that the parable is true from their Lord, but the Unbelievers say: "What does God mean for this parable?" In the parable there are many who have led Allah astray, and with parables are many whom He guideth. And Allah does not go astray except the wicked,

Those who break the covenant of God after the covenant are firm, and decide what Allah commanded them to connect and make mischief in the earth. They are the ones who lose.

Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 28
Why do you disbelieve in Allah, when you were dead, then Allah raised you, then you turned off and revived Him, then to Him you are returned?

Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 29
He is God, Who made all things in the earth for you and He wills (creates) the heavens, and He made seven heavens. And He is Knower of all things.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 30

Remember when your Lord said to the Angels: "I will make a caliph in the earth". They said: "Why do you want to make the (Caliph) on earth the one who will make the damage to him and shed blood, whereas we always glorify by praising You and purifying You?" The Lord said: "Verily I know what you do not know".
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 31
And He taught Adam the names (objects) entirely, then put it to the angels then said: "Mention me the names of those things if you are true mammals of the righteous!"
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 32
They replied: "Glory be to You, we know nothing but what You have taught us: for You are the Knower, the Wise."
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 33
Allah says: "O Adam, tell them the names of these things". So after he told them the names of these things, God said: "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth and know what you bring forth and what you hide?"
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 34
And (remember) when We said unto the angels: "Prostrate thou unto Adam," they bowed down except the devil; he is reluctant and arrogant, and he is a class of disbelievers.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 35
And We said: "O Adam, have you and your wife this heaven, and eat the many good foods wherever you please, and approach not this tree, which causes you to be among those who do wrong.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 36
Then both of them were derailed by the shaitan from heaven and removed from the original state and We said: "Come down, some of you become enemies to others, and to you there is a dwelling place on earth, and the joy of life till the appointed time".
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 37
Then Adam received several sentences from his Lord, then Allah accepted his repentance. Allah is the Receiver of Repentance, the Merciful.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 38
We say: "Descend all of them from heaven, and if my instructions come unto you, then whosoever followeth my guidance shall have no fear concerning them, neither shall they grieve".
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 39
As for those who disbelieve and belie Our signs, they are the inhabitants of the Fire; they are eternal in it.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 40

O Children of Israel, remember the blessings which I have bestowed upon you, and fulfill your promise to Me, I will keep My promise unto you; and unto Me only ye shall fear (submissive).
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 41
And believe in what I have sent down (the Qur'an) which justifies what you have (the Torah), and do not be the first to disbelieve him, and do not exchange My verses for a low price, I am you to be cautious.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 42
And do not confuse the right with the false and do not hide the right, while you know.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 43
And establish prayer, make zakat and ruku'lah with the people who ruku '.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 44
Why do you send someone else to do the service, while you forget your own (duty), when you read the Book (the Torah)? Then do not you think?
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 45
Make patience and prayer your helper. And indeed such is hard, except for those who are devoted ',

Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 46 those who believe that they will meet their Lord, and that they will return to Him.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 47
O Children of Israel, remember the blessings which I have bestowed upon you and (remember) that I have bestowed you over all the people.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 48
And guard yourselves from the Day of Judgment (the Day of Resurrection) that one can not defend anyone, even the slightest; and (so are) not received syafa'at and ransom from him, and neither will they be helped.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 49
And (remember) when We delivered you from (Fir'awn) and his followers; they have inflicted severe punishment on you, they slaughter your sons and let your daughters live. And in that there are great trials of your Lord.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 50
And when We split the sea for you, We saved you and We drowned (Fir'awn) and his followers while you were witnessing.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 51
And when We promised Moses (giving the law, after) forty nights, then you made the calf (god) after you and you were the wrongdoers.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 52
Then afterwards We forgive your mistake, that you may be grateful.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 53
And (remember), when We give to Moses the Book (Taurat) and the information that distinguishes between right and wrong, so that you get guidance.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 54
And (remember), when Moses said unto his people: "O my people! You have persecuted yourselves for making the calf, repent unto the Lord who made you and slay yourselves, God who made you, then Allah will accept your repentance, He is the Most Receptive, the Merciful.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 55
And when ye say: O Moses, we will not believe in you before we see God with light; therefore you are struck by lightning while you are watching.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 56
After that We raised you up after you died, that you may be grateful.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 57
And We shelter you with the clouds, and We send down to you "manna" and "salwa". Eat from the good food that We have given you; nor did they persecute us; but they are the ones who persecute themselves.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 58
And when We said: "Enter ye into the land (Bait al-Maqdis), and eat of the produce of the earth, which is much better where ye like, and enter the gate while prostrating, and say:" Rid us of sin "We will forgive your faults, and We will add (Our gift) to those who do good."
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 59
Then those who do wrongly change orders by (doing) that are not commanded to them. Therefore We bring upon those who do wrong from the heavens, for they do wickedly.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 60
And (remember) when Moses begged water for his people, then We said: "Hit the rock with your staff". And there came out twelve springs of water. Indeed, each tribe has known the drinking place (respectively). Eat and drink God's provision, and do not roam the earth in corruption.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 61
And when ye say: O Moses, we can not be patient with a single food: therefore plead for us unto thy Lord that He may bring forth for us of the earth which groweth its vegetables, cucumber, garlic, bean fennel, and onion ". Moses said: "Will you take the lower one as a better substitute? Go to a city, surely you get what you ask". Then they are abandoned to them of nausea and humiliation, and they have the wrath of God. It is because they always deny the verses of Allah and kill the unrighteous prophets. That is so because they are always rebellious and transgressing.

And when We made a promise from you, and We raised the Mount above you, "Hold fast on that which We have given you, and remember what is in it, that ye may ward off (evil)."
Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 64
Then you turned back after that, if it had not been the grace of Allah and His mercy upon you, you would have been the loser.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 65
And verily ye know those who have transgressed among you on Saturday, and We said unto them: Be ye apes, despised.
Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 66
image
So We made it a reminder for those who are in the Hereafter, and to those who come after, and are mindful of the cautious.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 67
And (remember) when Moses said to his people: "Allah commands you to slaughter a cow." They said: Will ye make us a mockery? Moses replied: "I seek refuge in Allah not to be one of the ignorant."
Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 68
They said: "Ask your Lord for us, that He may explain to us what is a cow." Moses replied: "Verily, Allah says that the cow is an old and not young cow, halfway between it, then do what you are commanded."
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 69
They said: "Ask your Lord for us that He may explain to us what color it is." Moses replied: "Verily, Allah says that the cow is a yellow cow, whose color is yellow, is pleasant to those who look at it."
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 70
They said: "Ask your Lord for us that He may explain to us how the cow is, for the cow is faint for us, and lo! If indeed we are guided."

Musa said: "Verily, Allah says that the cow is a cow that has never been used to plowing the land and not to irrigate the plant, without blemish, without any spotted". They said: "Now you are telling the truth of the true cow." Then they killed him and almost did not execute the order.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 72
And when thou didst kill a man then thou didst accuse one another. And God wants to reveal what you have hidden.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 73
Then We said: "Strike the corpse with some of the cows!" Thus God revives the dead, and shows you the signs of his power that you may understand.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 74
Then after that your heart becomes hard as a rock, even harder. But among the rocks there are really flowing rivers from him and some of them are so splashed out and the springs go out of him and some of them are falling down, fearing God. And Allah is not unaware of what ye do.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 75

Do you still expect them to believe in you when some of them hear the word of Allah, then they change it after they understand it while they know?

Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 76And when they meet those who believe, they say: "We believe!" But when they were in their company, they said: "Did you tell them what the Messenger of Allah which God has made known to you, so that they may overcome your argument before your Lord, do you not understand? "
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 77
Do they not know that Allah knows all that they hide and all that they reveal?
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 78
And among them there are illiterate, not knowing the Book (Torah), except the mere lies and they only guess.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 79

Then a great accident for those who wrote the Book with their own hands, then he said; "This is from God", (with the intention) to gain a little gain by that act. So great is their consequence, by what their own hands have written, and woe to them for what they do.

Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 80And they said: We shall not touch the Fire except for a few days. Say: Have you received a promise from Allah that Allah will not break His promise, or do you say against Allah what you do not know?
Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 81

(It is not) the truth: whosoever sinneth and whose sin is covered, they are the dwellers of the Fire, to abide therein.
Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 82And those who believe and do good works, they are the dwellers of Paradise; they remain in it.
Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 83And remember We took an oath from the Children of Israel, saying: "Worship none but Allah, and do good to parents, relatives, orphans, and the needy, and say good words to men, establish prayer and pay zakat. Then you did not fulfill that promise, except a few of you, and you always turned away.
Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 84And when We took your oath from you, you would not shed your blood, and you would not drive out your people from your home; then you would pledge ) while you are watching it.
Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 85Then you (the Children of Israel) killed your own kinsmen and drove out a party of you from their homeland, helping you to help them with sin and hostility; but if they come to you as prisoners, you will redeem them, but it will be forbidden to you. Do you believe in some of the Scripture and disbelieve in others? There is no recompense for those who do so from you but the distress in the life of the world, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be returned to a terrible punishment. Allah is not unmindful of what you do.

Those who buy the life of the world with the Hereafter will not lighten up their torment and they will not be helped.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 87And verily We have brought the Book to Moses, and We followed it afterwards with the apostles, and We have given evidence of the truth (miracle) to Jesus son of Mary and We strengthen it with Ruhul Qudus. Is it any coming to you an apostle to bring something (lessons) that are not according to your wishes then you boast; then some of them (you) denied and some (others) you killed?
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 88

image
And they say: "Our hearts are closed". But God has cursed them for their unbelief; so few are believers.
Surah Al-Baqarah Ayat 89 And after coming to them the Quran from Allah justifying what is in them, whereas before they used to plead (the coming of the Prophet) to gain victory over the unbelievers, then after coming to them what they already know , they then deny him. So the curse of Allah is upon those who disbelieve.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 90
What a terrible thing (the deeds) of those who sell themselves with disbelief to what Allah has revealed, out of envy that God sent down His bounty upon whom He willed among His servants. Therefore they get wrath after (got) wrath. And to those who disbelieve a humiliating punishment.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 91
And when it says to them: "Believe in the Quran that Allah hath revealed," they say: "We believe only in what is revealed to us". And they disbelieve in the Quran that is revealed afterwards, while the Quran is the (Book of) the right; which justifies what is in them. Say: "Why did you first kill the prophets of God if you were true believers?"
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 92
Verily Moses has come to you with the evidence of truth (miracles), then you made the calf (as a lamb) after his (departure), and in truth you are the wrongdoers.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 93
And when We take a promise from you and We take the hill (Thursina) above you (as We say): "Hold fast to what We have given you and hear!" They answered: "We hear but disobey". And have been impregnated into their hearts (love of worship) the calf because of their disbelief. Say: "Very evil deeds that your faith has commanded you if you believe (to the Torah).

Say: "If you (think that) the Hereafter (heaven) is special for you in Allah's sight, not for others, then crave death (if you are true).
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 95
And they will never covet death forever, because of the wrongs that their hands have done, and Allah is well acquainted with those who persecute.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 96
And indeed you will find them, the most obedient people to life (in the world), even (more lofty) than the idolaters. Each of them wants to be given a thousand years old, but that long life will not keep him away from torture. Allah is Knowing what they do.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 97
Say: "Whoever is the enemy of Gabriel, then Gabriel has sent him (the Qur'an) into your heart with the permission of Allah, justify what (the books) before and be a guide and good news for those who believe.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 98
Whoever is the enemy of Allah, His angels, His apostles, Gabriel and Mikail, then surely Allah is the enemy of the unbelievers.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 99
And verily We have sent down to you clear verses; and there is no rebellion against him, but of the ungodly.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 100
Should they (disbelieve in the verses of Allah), and every time they bind the promise, a group of them throw it away? In fact most of them do not believe.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 101
And after coming to them an Apostle from the side of God who justifies what they have, some of those who were given the Book (Torah) threw the book of God behind (back) it, as if they did not know (that it is God's book).
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 102
And they followed what the Shaykhs saw in Sulaiman's reign (and they said that Solomon was doing witchcraft), whereas Solomon was not kafir (not doing magic), only shaytan-shaitan was the infidel (working on magic). They taught magic to man and what was sent down to two angels in the land of Babil, Harut and Marut, both of whom did not teach anyone before saying: "We are only a trial (for you), therefore do not disbelieve." So they learn from the two angels what by that magic, they can divorce between a (husband) with his wife. And they (magicians) do not harm their magic with anyone except with the permission of Allah. And they learn something that does not harm him and does not benefit. Indeed, verily they have believed that those who exchanged (the book of God) with the magic, have no profit in the Hereafter, and it is evil that their deeds sell themselves by magic, if they know.

with the magic, there is no profit for them in the Hereafter, and it is evil that they sell themselves to magic if they know.

Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 103
If they believe and fear Allah, surely the reward from Allah is better, if they but knew.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 104
O ye who believe! Say ye not, Raa'ina, but say: "Unzhurna", and "hear". And for those who disbelieve the painful torment.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 105
Those who disbelieve from the People of the Book and the idolaters will not wish to send down any good to you from your Lord. And Allah doth decide whom He will of His mercy; and Allah has a great gift.
Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 106
Anything We have wronged or We have forgotten, We bring a better one out of it or equal to it. Know ye not that Allah hath power over all things?
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 107
Do you not know that the kingdom of the heavens and the earth is Allah's. And besides Allah there is no protector or helper.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 108
Do you want to ask your Messenger like the Children of Israel asking for Moses in the past? And whoever converts faith with disbelief, then he has gone astray from the straight path.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 109
Most of the People of the Book want them to return you to unbelief after you believe, because of the envy of the (self) of themselves, after manifest to them the truth. So forgive and leave them, until Allah commands His command. Allah is Able to do all things.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 110
And establish prayer and pay zakat. And whatever good you earn for yourself, you will surely have the reward with Allah. Lo! Allah is Seer of what ye do.
Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 111
And they say: Never enter Paradise except those of the Jews or the Christians. Such is the (mere) imagination of those who are empty. Say: "Show the proof of your truth if you are the truthful."
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 112
Nay, but whoever submits to Allah and does good, for him shall be a reward with his Lord, and no fear shall be upon them, nor shall they grieve.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 113
And the Jews said: "The Nazarenes have no holds", and the Christians say: "The Jews have no holds," while they (both) read the Book. Likewise the people who do not know, say like their words. Then Allah will judge between them on the Day of Judgment, concerning what they disagree with.
Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 114
And who is more persecuting than the one who hinders the name of Allah in His mosques, and strives to demolish them? They should not enter it (mosque of Allah), except with fear (to Allah). They are in the world of disgrace and in the hereafter get a severe punishment.
image
And Allah belongs to the east and the west, and wherever ye may go there is the face of God. Verily Allah is All-Wise (His mercy) again Knowing.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 116

They (the disbelievers) say: "God has a son". Glory be to God, even what is in the heavens and the earth belongs to God; all submit to Him.
Surah Al-Baqarah Surah 117
God the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and when He wills (to create) something, then (suffice) He just tells him: "Be!" Then he did.
Surah Al-Baqarah Surah 118
And those who do not know say: "Why does God not (directly) speak with us or come to us for signs of His power?" Likewise those who before them have spoken as they say; their hearts are similar. Verily We have explained Our signs to those who believe.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 119
Verily We have sent you (Muhammad) with the truth; as the bearer of glad tidings and warner, and you will not be asked (accountable) about the inhabitants of hell.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 120

The Jews and the Christians will not be happy with you until you follow their religion. Say: "The guidance of Allah is a guidance (true)". And if ye follow their will after knowledge has come upon you, then God is no longer a protector and helper to you.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 121
Those whom We have given the Book to them, they read it with true reading, they believe in it. And whoever denies him, they are the losers.

And (remember), when Ibrahim tested his Lord with a few sentences (command and prohibition), then Ibrahim accomplished it. Allah says: "I will make you a priest for all men". Ibrahim said: "(And I beg of it) from my descendants". Allah says: "My promise (this) is not about the wrongdoer".
Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 125
And (remember), when We made the house (Baitullah) a gathering place for men and a safe place. And make sebahagian Ibrahim place prayers. And We have commanded Ibrahim and Ishmael: "Cleanse My house for those who are Thawaf, who are i'tikaf, the ruku 'and the prostration".
Surah Al-Baqarah Verses 126
And when Ibrahim prayed: "O my Lord, make this land a safe, secure land, and give fruits of fruit unto their believing inhabitants unto God and the Last Day." Allah says: "And to those who reject Faith I give temporary pleasure, then I force him to undergo the punishment of hell and that's the worst place to go back ".

Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 129
Our Lord, send to them an Apostle from among them, who will recite to them your Signs, and teach them the Book (Al-Quran) and Al-Hikmah (Sunnah) and purify them. Verily, you are the Almighty, the Wise.
Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 130
And no one hates the religion of Abraham, but the one who fools himself, and indeed We have chosen him in the world and verily in the Hereafter he truly belongs to the righteous.

Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 132
And Abraham has given it to his children, as well as Ya'qub. (Ibrahim) said: "O my sons! Allah has chosen this religion for you, then die not except in the religion of Islam".
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 133
Did you present when Ya'qub came (signs) to death, when he said to his children: "What do you worship after my death?" They said: "We will worship your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, Abraham, Ishmael and Ishaq, the One and Only God, and we will submit to Him."
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 134
It was a people ago; for him what he has worked on and what you have earned, and you will not be asked for what they have done.
Surat Al-Baqarah Verse 135
And they say: "Become Jews or Christians, you will be guided." Say: "Nay, but we followed the religion of Abraham, and he was not of the idolaters."

Say: "We believe in Allah and what has been sent down to us, and that which was sent down to Ibrahim, Isma'il, Ishaq, Ya'qub and his descendants, and what was given to Moses and Jesus, what is given to the prophets from his Lord, We do not discriminate between them and we submit to Him. "
