Port-A-Fort
As I mentioned in my last post the new Port-a-Fort quick defensive maneuver will be coming in one of the next updates but this actually came alot sooner than I expected. It is not available for use in the game. This will be great when you find yourself in a tight situation. A video of how it works is below:
50vs50 Mode Returns
50 v 50 mode returns to the game mode this week. The last time we saw this mode was in the rear end of 2017. I wasn't too fond of this mode as it felt super sloppy. Epic has since updated this mode and the updates are listed below:
- Each team will have its own bus and each bus will approach from opposite sides of the map.
- You will be able to see the final storm circle will be visible from the beginning.
- A dotted line will not divide each team's side of the map.
- Supply drops fall in batches of 3 - 6 during the final circle and will drop every two minutes.

I have some mixed feelings about the Port-A-Fort but I came to terms with this...It makes a nice target for my rockets. On a side note I am curious to see what the 50 v 50 will be like. I can't wait to try that out.
Idk, I think it's a good add. Obviously it won't do much for the players that can construct buildings, but it will allow the noobs to give us a bit more of a challenge. I think it will balence out. 50v50 was probably my least favorite game mode released, but with these new changes it could be alot better than in December.
Yeah when I played it in December I wasn't that fond of it. But I think with the added change of adding 2 buses on opposite sides of the map it might make it more interesting.
