A Fox Story inspired by Chinese Literature

A certain professor was preparing his lesson for in calculus when he discovered that his room had been possessed with a fox spirit. Upon realizing this, he tried to chase the fox spirit, but it was too fast for him to catch. The teacher knew that the fox spirit would punish him for his secret affair. Just as the teacher had trapped the spirit, the spirit entered his body and he felt an overwhelming sense of happiness, completely forgetting the fox spirit.
The next day, after his lecture, the professor took one of his students to his house that he has been sleeping with. Then during the night, the teacher was being pleasured by the fox-spirit, who had assumed the form of his student . When the teacher woke up the next morning he found his student dead next to him with bite marks all over her neck, as well as bite marks on his neck too. The teacher then realized that the fox spirit had tricked him and killed his mistress too! His lust had overcome him and now he would have to pay the price.
When he went back to his house in the village to visit his wife, his wife immediately welcomed his with open arms, but she soon noticed all of the bite marks and assumed that he had been sleeping with another woman. Offended and disgusted, his wife dumped him and kicked him out of the house. In anger, she burned all of his possessions and swore to never let him come back.
As the teacher walked on the streets looking for a place to sleep, he was encountered by a Buddhist monk. The teacher knelt down and begged the monk to remove the fox spirit from his body. The monk realized that the spirit was punishing the teacher’s affair, and told the teacher he must confess. As the teacher weeped he confessed his affair to the monk and apologized for not being virtuous to his wife. The monk recited a chant and after a bright flash of light. The fox spirit had left the professor's body. The monk informed the professor that his wife would now warmly welcome him back home. As the man ran home, he saw a fox lay dead on the side of the road, with bite marks all over its neck.
