Original Brickracing SB3 fleet

Brickracing SB3 aka Small Brick is design and produced by Brickracing.com team pilot Nule. Started as Project at beginning of 2017 for HzDRL sub AUW 150g class to fit Emax RS1306 motors with carbon top plate and AIO cam, it evolved. Once micro cams debuted, we saw potential to step up the game with aluminum cage, so you get lightest possible solution without sacrificing the camera image and durability. Bottom plate is fully custom made, from raw carbon fibers to nearly indestructible.

Motor to motor distance was so minimal, that we can say for sure, it has one of the smallest foorprint for 3" frame, if not even the smallest.

SB3 Ultra frame

During 2017 year, motor manufacturers came up with more powerful 11xx motors and we saw potential to save some grams, as Emax RS1306 was pretty heavy and out of date compared with new 11xx motors. Project started around Sep 2017, once we got our hands on Emax RS1106 6000kV motors.
What we updated:

  • aluminium cage to taller, so it was much more easier to fit all components
  • skinned down arm width as motors was more lighter and it didn't sacrifice durability
  • made arms longer for more stability.

Is there room in that stack for a micro runcam split? I am looking for a something small.

I got Runcam Split Mini for test laying around, have made test fit. It fits dimension wise, but there can be problem with RX fitting as for now I have mounted it between FC and ESC. We are now working on "backpack" for RX in between side plates, so will post an update on it, hopefully this week. Worst case, we will upgrade roll cage :)
