Mont-Rolland, QC, est une ville de compagnie qui a vu le jour suite à l'implantation d’une usine de pâte et papier. La première feuille de papier fut produite le 31 juillet 1903.
L’usine ferme ses portes en août 1990 mais le site sera transformé en Parc d'affaires La Rolland.
