Vous vous souvenez de Lok ? Eh bien voici ses petites soeurs, les 4 autres illustrations intérieures de Citara 2, Virginie dans les Flammes, de Nathalie Bagadey !
Bon, en vrai, il y en a deux supplémentaires : une qui n'est pas de moi, et une qui révèlerait trop de choses au lecteur pour être publiée ;) on restera donc pour une série de 5 illustrations.

Voici Achille !
Achille est un des personnages principaux de la série de Citara. On le découvre dès le début du tome 1, où il se présente comme le papa adoptif de Sylvine, l'héroïne. Venant d'un royaume lointain, Achille est une force de la nature au grand cœur et m'a séduite par son tempérament malicieux. Papa poule un peu, mais pas trop !
Here comes Achilles!
Achilles is one of the main characters of the Citara series. We discover him at the beginning of Volume 1, where he introduces himself as Sylvine's adopted father, the heroine. Coming from a distant kingdom, Achilles is a force of nature with a big heart and seduced me with his mischievous temperament. Daddy hens a little, but not too much!

Merci à Nathalie pour m'avoir permis de travailler sur un sujet aussi cool :D ! Je suis en plein dans la lecture du deuxième tome et je le trouve encore plus prenant que le tome 1, qui était déjà une très belle aventure. Hâte de connaître la suite ^^ (et de revenir illustrer le T3 ?).

Unfortunately, the proposed reward does not represent at all the work necessary for an illustration of this type... it is a precise order, in front of which the price must be aligned, otherwise the drawing market, which is already not very strong, will continue to deteriorate.
In addition, you will have several artists work while only one of them will be paid.
Maybe some artists can draw something for you with this price, but the way I do it (professionally), I won't be able to handle it financially.
I will probably do an article one day to simply explain how the value of an illustration is calculated and why some illustrators like myself have had enough of the not enouth paid contests.
Drawing just for fun ok, we often do that, but not on request!

Entering or winning the contest does in no way transfer any rights to your work or give me the rights to use the work in my book. If the work of the winner gives me confidence he/she could make the illustration the first of a series of 10..15 illustrations, I'll make what I believe is an appropriate and fair offer for that series given the quality of the first illustration, but the prize of the contest will in no way be part of price that I'm willing to pay for the series. These are completely seperate.
Chances are, as an earlier contest with a short story showed me, none of the contestants will give me enough confidence in their abilities to produce a whole series of illustrations for my book, so indeed the contest, for me would likely end up being just for fun. This means the prize for the contest must be a just for fun prize.
