RE: La carte de débit Crypto.com: découvrir la crypto de façon "douce"

in #fr3 years ago

When I came across crypto.com, I didn’t bother to verify my account on their platform simply because Binance is already providing me with everything that I needed. But over the years, I sometimes look up the prices of exchange ‘s coins and I do see CRO and wonder when it’d finally pick up. But sadly for me, I lost track on its development until last week when I across how they have acquired that massive crypto.com Arena. And Immediately, I looked up its price again but bear marking wasn’t helping.

Like I said, it’s been long since I used crypto.com and I never knew that they only provide service via mobile app. Wow. I wonder why that strategy. However, they’ve got ways of making it to the top. Like you said, applying of visa is anther use case.

In the next bull run, I’ll be looking forward to how its prices goes dependant to its adoption.

Same thought process like you, it's when I learned that their credit card is widely accepted in Luxembourg (where I live) that I thought "Heck, why not, let's check them out!" The cards are classy and distinctive, I felt that being able to flash one around might help crypto adoption around ... I think CRO is a long play, if it will ever work out (and of course there's absolutely no guarantee it will). But then, I cannot help but remember that back in early December 2017 I bought 400€ worth of BNB that turned into 40000€ in 2021 so I think it's a gamble worth taking, just in case they manage to pull off a similar feat

Yea, their use cases are amazing and might lead to a successfully CRO in coming years. Worth gambling too. Kudos to you for preaching the crypto gospel to French people.

Oh, one more thing: they didn't actually acquire the Arena, they just paid to have the right to name it. The price they actually pay for that right is not public but an older similar deal is known and if that is any indication, they might pay a sizeable sum of money to keep it branded like that. Apparently their Superbowl ads weren't worth their cost so this branding deal might turn out underwhelming as well, for the company itself (although it's good for the cryptoverse overall)

Oh, I just learnt something new. They actually acquired the naming right for $700 million.

Yep, that would be 35 million per year for 20 years ... quite a bunch of money to splash out during a crypto winter !
