Was wondering too about HIVE resource allocation: why HIVE does not seem to have these problems that EOS had regarding resource allocation. It is based on similar principles as EOS after all (resource ownership instead of leasing). I think it is simply because Hive does not have smart contracts - no need to measure CPU time. CPU is probably the resource that's the most problematic for EOS.
