FRAMED: Black and White Portrait Photography Shoot 2/4 Casting and Early Preparation

Changes

So, last minute we did have a cancellation of our makeup artist, and were able to rearrange the models so that I go first and didn't have hair and makeup. This will be good because we can still get the best possible shots. No stress, and we can start the shoot off exploring some possibilities before the models show up.

Wardrobe

I went to H&M, Forever 21, Zara, Top Shop, Nordstrom, Macy's, and around the mall. All of these are in the same shopping area which is nice and made a fun walk out. I found that nobody (as expected) had anything for turtleneck really at this time of year. And at 85-95 degrees out, why should they?

This posed a problem for the shoot that we solved. I contacted each model and asked them to bring something like a turtleneck and a blazer if they have it. We will work with what we can get.

Clothes I looked at the store had some knitted stuff. So I went peaking in the sale, clearance, and last season collections. These are my findings.

They aren't bad, but I don't think that's what I'm looking for.

^^^ Okay, that's not really the look. But I kept searching.

I actually really liked this blazer. I did what is probably thought of as wrong, but I purchased the blazer in medium and small. After the shoot I plan on returning them. Assuming we don't accidentally damage them.

Well, all in all I think it's a success. I think I am banking on the models bringing cool stuff.
