Water - The Free Energy

in #free7 years ago

images.jpegSince our highschool days, we are taught how to separate Hydrogen and Oxygen from water. It really is a very interesting topic due to a wide range of application if a succesful working design can be made. But due to many factors and limits this topic about an energy source has been neglected.

The question is, can we really use Hydrogen as fuel?
The answer? Yes

But due to the energy/electricity needed before we can separate hydrogen from water. This topic did not gain much of appreciation and attention.

What can be done to improve the idea?
What if we incorporate solar energy with water electrolysis?

If we can give the required current to produce substantial amount of hydrogen from water, do you think we can improve the design and run our cars and machines in ecofriendly (burning of hydrogen produces water) manner while saving money to buy for petroleum products.

Please feel free to comment your suggestions.

I think it's more accurate to think of hydrogen as a storage of energy than a source of energy.

We have abundant supply of water, if we could just harness its capabilities.

Yes we can electrolyse water with solar energy, but untill solar reach 35 % of our needs, it is easier to use the electricity produced by solar without storing it.
In the future we could provide 100 % of our need with renewable. Wind 45 % solar 35 % hydroelectricity 10 % geothermal, biomass..;then we will need storage. But H2 is difficult to store too. McPhy energy is producing metal hydrure to store H2. Vanadium flow batteries may be more efficient
