Bitcoin 100K - Finally and what it means for IRA Account holders.

2024 was the Year of the Bitcoin Halving. It did not disappoint with a price run-up before the event.

After it crossed into 73K, the price was moving in the wrong direction! Many were worried thinking the HIGH for the cycle was IN about a year earlier than historical patterns. Traders will often get the "Timing wrong" and people will sell low and buy back in higher. I'm sure that happen between June-Oct of this year. Then came NOV 2024 and BITCOIN came back to life!

Why is this important?

In 2024, anyone with a brokerage account or if your 401K has a "Self-Managed Investment" option had the option of getting into BITCOIN SPOT ETF in January 2024. I have indicated in a previous POSTING that this one change created an ON-RAMP for Trillions of dollars. Today $129B is in BITCOIN ETF out of the 7.4T total 401K asset base or 1.75% of the asset pool.

I expect the SPOT ETF will hold about 5% of the 7.4T 401K in the next few years. More RIA/CFP and Financial Planners are open to holding 1% of your assets in BITCOIN.

Why did I do it?

There is a difference between an investment guru who follows and those who LEAD. I wanted to show that I was well aware of what happening in the industry way before MSTR's Saylor started to preach about BITCOIN in 2020.

This is the same reason why I post my OPTION trades and moves at the time I make them. This is the OPPOSITE of "WIN PORN". Too many people only pick and show their winning trades. I post my options trades within an hour or so after making them. I have been doing this for a few years, even running a YouTube video in the past. However, it was TIME consuming to make video within the hours each trading day, so I ended up posting the trades (rather than YT). Today, I post this information on X, FB and InLeo/PeakD (Hive)

MARA put credit spread rolled out for $25 each.
Visa Covered call rolled up and out for $145.
AMD put credit spread rolled down and out for $13 each.
SOFI covered call rolled up and out for $19.

Super Excited for 2024! Santa Claus Rally would be a perfect way to end this year.
