I disagree. I don't need my arse licked. If I spend a lot of time writing a post, then sure, I'm hoping for engagement. Someone who leaves a comment saying "nice post" is not looking for engagement. They're looking for upvotes and follows, and I don't need that shit on my post.
Perhaps poorly worded, but I'm sure you know what I mean.
