Former Canadian Federal Policeman / RCMP officer pleads guilty to Sexual Assault - Guilty in Multiple Provinces!

The trial for a former RCMP member facing three historical sexual assault charges in Yorkton, did truly come to a quick and shocking end.

62 year-old Alan Davidson pleaded guilty to two counts of Sexual Assault, while the third count was stayed Thursday morning.

The alleged victim of the third assault had become very upset with the defence lawyer’s cross-examination, and was finding it difficult to continue his victim impact statement on the stand.

Then, after the plea deal was announced, the victim burst into the courtroom, demanding closure from Davidson, and had to be held back by police.

The former RCMP officer stood accused of assaulting him and two others when they were boys.

Davidson, who is 62 and now faces a sentencing hearing, was stationed in Regina, Coronach, Lloydminster, North Battleford and Yorkton between 1981 and 1996.

Davidson, who also served at RCMP detachments in Alberta, retired from the force in August 1996.

Sentencing submissions have been scheduled for Friday, but they’re complicated by the fact that Davidson was found guilty of five similar charges in BC, and has yet to be sentenced on those.

Between March and December of 2014, three individuals came forward and reported being sexually assaulted as youth while they were living in or visiting Yorkton, between 1987 and 1991.

To Protect and Serve... Right??

And WE are the problem as awake/informed residents sick of the lies, politics and waste of tax dollars.
