Apparently, tweeting pictures displaying firearms and ammunition is now illegal!
In a shocking turn of events, NFL player Jonathan Martin was taken into custody by law enforcement officers after he posted a tweet featuring a shotgun and shell casings, with the message:
"When you're a bully victim & a coward, your options are suicide, or revenge."
Let's face it -- most people would consider the tweet disturbing. At the very least, it's in extremely poor taste given the recent tragic school shooting. But according to the First Amendment, you can't censor speech just because it's disturbing or poorly conceived.
But if these reports are true, we have taken yet another leap forward into the Brave New World.
Scary indeed What's the charge? Due process always goes out the window when crowd hysteria sets in. The United States has been in a state of panicked hysteria since November of 2016.
Exactly! I understand it's not great to post stupid stuff on the internet -- especially after a mass shooting -- but you're right...what's the charge!?!??
What an idiot who does shit like that
We already live in that Orwellian world.
