RE: ADSactly World - Venezuela and its misconception about democracy

in #freedom7 years ago

The destruction of my country, more than economic, has been moral.

Agree, Venezuela people is not the same as before. We see that with the incredible high insecurity, it is like a lot of people weren't afraid to steal from others, and the tons of videos showing people stealing from trucks that are distributing foods.

There is also a factor of desperation, but the moral is also damaged. As always, these types of revolutions end up destroying everything, economic prosperity and general values of the people.

let alone to subvert the current situation.

I am seeing more and more people supporting the cause for an international military intervention through Colombia, a few months ago it was like a taboo subject, now it seems to be getting real.

Only an implosion

Venezuela is pretty much already imploded, the only people who aren't starving is the ones who own businesses and raise prices constantly, or people earning money in another currency. But the ones who have normal jobs cannot even buy a pizza from papa johns without emptying their bank accounts.

Sort:

Absolutely. Yet, those who cant afford basic thing have not reacted against the government. Today i witnessed 2 protests in Cumana, in front of two banks. The protestors? Elder people. Banks are giving people less than 100k VEF after a 6 to 12 hour wait. You cant get even 2 pounds of sugar with that.
Protest will have to turn massive if we want to see a change
