Government is a disease.
Governace is required in all things. Even diseases can make an organism stronger since they expose it to strain.
It responds exactly like cancer.
Not really. If it did we shoud all be extinct by now
We surely DO need to complain about it.
Well you can but it is rather a futile endeavour
In fact we need to eliminate it.
Who exactly is "we". I don't remember signing up.
We're hardwired for the monkeysphere
Yes we are. That is more of a reason why it is futile to complain. I am glad you are answering your own questions
Government is VERY good at killing people and breaking things (look at the entire history of the human race.
I specifcally explain how people kill people and not the abstract notion of "the government"
Oppressed by government everywhere you look) Government is NOT very good at doing much else, although it claims the credit for what other's have done.
(who will build the RHOADS? )
repeating random libertarian mantra doesn't really cut it pal
Who else is going to maintain the running water, sewage system? I don't get how that works on Anarchist Island. If they have an outhouse, where do they dump all the shit? Crude example but that's one of the most important things to take care of. Second only to food. lol!
In an anarchist Island, as also elsewhere, the shit gets ultimately, after some composting, dumped in garden, where it gives nutrients to the foodstuff that people eat and turn into shit. Recycling. In a place where I lived there were also detailed plans to burn the composting fumes of shit to heat a greenhouse. Water runs inwards towards the center of gravity, and there are also pumps that even anarchists can build and maintain.
Thanks for the answer. It was a serious question. Are such sustainability practices feasible on a large scale ?
On any scale sustainability requires recycling and self-strengthening feed-back loops of energy and information flows. Static models of sustainable practices can be also bit misleading, as in practice they - we - are dynamic systems.
