RE: What Gives Our Government the Right to Take Our Children?

in #freedom7 years ago (edited)

Hello @happyme, not registering your child has implications, but so does registering them.
The government make us believe that we need them and their 'benefits' but we are perfectly capable of taking care of ourselves.

I never said it saves them Money, it makes them money, it's very profitable to have children in the care system,in the same way its profitable to have people in prison.

The CPS and prison service are companies trading for profit and competing for the tax dollar.

There are some Foster families that care, but I grew up in Foster care and it's no place for any child. It's much better to keep families together and work on the problems rather that tear families apart and create more problems, abuse in foster care and care homes is rife TRUST ME.

Thanks for your input.

Sorry, I should have wrote "makes money" rather than "saves money", but I still don't see how that happens.

Can you explain this? How does it make money for the Gov't.?

I have no doubt that foster homes can be abusive. Anywhere that money is involved, there will be abuse. All I said was that you can't paint them all with the same brush; as with most things in life; there are always some exceptions.

I'm sorry that your experience was not a good one.

I'm also in agreement that some families are destroyed when they really should not have been. That too is unfortunate and in my mind is criminal negligence at best and outright criminal in some cases. At the same time, there are situations where a child really is better off leaving a toxic environment until such time that the environment is cleaned up. I personally know someone who told me they were held down by their own mother while the mother's boyfriend abused them. Do you really think this home is better than a foster home? I can imagine the torture one must feel being abused by a stranger, but what a mind-wrecker when your own mother is doing it!

Child Protective Services is competing for government funding,
and the more children that they take into foster care,
the more funding that they receive,
and the more workers they can hire, etc.

So of course it costs money,
but they treat government money like it is free and do not care that everybody else has to either pay more taxes or get less of other government services, or that the government debt keeps rising and rising.

Of course some children need to be protected from abusive parents,
but in many cases, the foster homes are abusive.
They will try their best to find any minor fault with the child's parents so that they can take that child away,
and then they place the child in a foster home that has not been properly vetted and where abuse occurs, which they completely ignore when shown evidence.

The system is broken,
and the Social Workers in charge right now should not be working in this field at all.
They all need to be fired, and ethical people need to replace them.

Oh, I think I get it now. Its not that they actually MAKE money by it, but simply take more out of what people pay in taxes to grow their empire as each department does. Many little fiefdoms. I guess that's what happens when there is little to no oversight. All public services should have some sort of watchdog to keep them on the straight and narrow.

Agree with you !

Yes the system is broken and the social workers should be fired and the children put into no schooling homes. Where parents put the children first in their lives.
