"Freedom has a price that someone has to pay"

I being born in an independent country feel myself lucky & blessed as I didn't have to pay price for freedom. My ancestors had to pay a great price for this 70 years ago. They had to leave their each & every thing behind in sub-continent, offered sacrifices for a cause that was known to many but the only thing they knew was, their offsprings would be able to lead a prosperous lives without the shackles of slavery unlike them. They had trust in ALLAH (S.W.T) and firm belief in the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. They knew that they would be able to live their lives according to the principles laid down by Islam. Therefore they didn't hesitate to render any kind of sacrifice for freedom on 14th August, 1947. Around 6 lac people were martyred in the line of freedom. It was one of the biggest migrations between two nations (Muslims & Hindus), between two lands (Pakistan & India). Both the nations had to pay a price that they would have never thought off.

Pakistan was made with the purpose of leading your life according to your own principles & religions, no matter what religion you belong to. The green colour in the flag represents muslims while the white colour represents minorities. When i see people from other religions having the same passion for Pakistan and celebrating its independence day with the same passion as i do or any othe muslim of Pakistan does, it gives me a strong belief that Pakistan is a "Safe Heaven" for everyone whether you are muslim, sikh, hindu or you belong to any cast, creed or religion. The price that was paid by our ancestors is bearing fruit. Rather i would take the opportunity to say

"Freedom is priceless that has no match"
