So I probably am preaching to the choir at Steemit with this post, but here goes anyway..
Taking down Google and Facebook is not just about bringing down the corporate controlled media that feeds us mind-numbing BS everyday, it's about waking up the world to real information, knowledge, and choice that we can act upon. Steemit is one of the great alternatives to the current sea of calculated disinformation and obfuscation out there, and this is why it's going to keep steaming ahead (sorry for the pun) regardless how much these other platforms try to stop it.
After at least 13 years in the edu-indoctrination prison system, most people have already been left helplessly inert in their thinking and actions. Then comes along the media / social media giants that look to keep you fake-informed, info-tained, and caught in a web of mental mush for the rest of your life. Facebook and Google are integral parts of this soul prison system that look to neuter you by constantly lulling you back to sleep with the standard BS narratives we've been getting since birth. Meanwhile they pull in hundreds of billions for herding and culling the sheeple on behalf of their owners.
On top of this, the US government (and those behind them that could give a shit about the US citizenry) have found that they can screw with foreign governments through social media as well. These "innocuous" applications are given free reign around the world to spy on social dupes that are more than happy to give away all their personal information in order to feel "socially gratified". In addition, US and corporate propaganda can be disseminated through these well-controlled social channels that link up CIA-NGO-"activists" with social media-identified marks that will help support their Soros-led revolutionary causes. It is imperative to break this beast system not just because it's wrong in every way possible, but because if we don't break out of the prison and take all the sheeple along with us, at some point the vast majority of the sheeple will be given another 9/11-type event and be told they need to proceed to the nearest slaughterhouse immediately. Anybody that doesn't agree with the herded masses will simply be turned in by the sheeple for threatening their safety.
I'd love to think the above isn't really true, but I don't believe in Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny anymore either..
