RE: Our DC: "They don't have a lot of cuts and stuff for everybody!"

Well, I will say this. It is very easy to point a camera at someone who is not very well educated and put them on the spot like that. This is a straight up cheap shot and anyone who claims different is not able to look deeper.
We have a woman of colour who is studying drama, she is then asked what jobs she can get from that? Of course people who traditionally get jobs from a drama major tend to be wealthy and connected in Hollywood or Broadway or one of the very lucky few who keep pushing and networking. A very slim chance that will be a poor/low socioeconomic status woman of colour who may or may not be the smartest pupil in class.
So the answer is probably the only job she will get from her Drama major will be a service job. Which in point is probably the type of job sector most Americans are used to seeing those from "Black America" in.
She is protesting because she wants to be part of something bigger than herself. She is studying drama because that is what she seems to enjoy. Does it have anything to do with the government? Your damn fucking right it does.

The government is the institution that bonds the society together. If those bonds are broken in some way you better go see the institution in charge and say fix this shit. How can they fix something that is flawed. In the US there are black people and white people. How fucking narrow minded is that? At the beginning of my comment I referred to the lady as a woman of colour. We are all people of colour. Varying shades. However the US system has 3 distinct "colours", Black, White and Latino. Which is fucking ridiculous. We are a human race of thousands of different ethnic groups which have many shades of skin colour yet in the US it is still a case of black and white plus latino/hispanic.
This video is an attempt at ridiculing someone who doesn't need to be anymore ridiculed. I bring the race issues up because if it was a well educated young american who was at the protest chances are they would be white and wealthy, not black and poor. Your bias is showing @adamkokesh

I don't necessarily agree with everything you've said in your comment, but I definitely agree with the above. It is a cheap shot at someone who otherwise might be led to understand the true corruption of the state in a different situation/context/conversation.

Making fun of brainwashed folks trying to live their dreams in one-minute videos and saying they should "shut their mouth" is a pretty interesting approach for a guy that goes on and on about non-violent communication, understanding, and dialoguing with those who disagree with our own viewpoints.

Agreed. It's never that simple.

The govenment is the institution that bonds society together if you're a friggin marxist. "Fix this shit"..what is that? Do you really think a bunch of politicians and beaurocrats have the knowledge or even inclination to figure out what it is you mean by that, and implement something in actual practice works, when you can't even describe what that is yourself?

Hang about, short fuse. The government is not the politicians and bureaucrats though is it. Those are just tentacles of the government. The institution that bonds society is commonly known as the government. It involves organising city and town planning, it involves social programs, schools and environmental concerns, it involves a duty of care to those it deems citizens and a system and structure for those not deemed citizens in the case of immigration, so yes a government is the bond. It is the machine in motion. No I don't think politicians and bureaucrats have knowledge to figure out what is meant by that, I expect grass routes organisations and community leaders to figure it out and gain positions of power within government so they can facilitate programs that will strengthen the bond of society. "a friggin marxist" You sound well read. Enlighten us all please.
