RE: URGENT: The European Union is Weeks Away From Passing a Rule That Would Destroy The Best Things About The Internet!

Violence will emerge whether you like it or not.

An almost infinity of potential exists and you are slicing off a high percentage of it with this judgement.
Violence has causes that stem from unconsciousness - when the unconsciousness is healed, there is no further cause for being vile or for violence.

It was rhetoric, but this entire exchange is about matters that are too obvious for most 17 years olds.

Then you have not asked enough questions here, or perhaps have a mentality that is stuck at 16 ;)

Governments are corrupt, not by definition, but currently.

To Govern = To make and administer the public policy and affairs of; exercise sovereign authority in.

Governing requires subordination and control. In other words, the act of creating government requires force or it has no mechanism to act. If the act requires force that overpowers others then it is not operating with balance. All circumstances can be resolved through independent action that is enlightened and balanced - where individuals join together when necessary. This can all be done without hierarchic control and subordination.

Governments ARE imbalanced, by definition and since the claimed purpose for government tends to be something along the lines of 'to keep the peace' and maybe to 'enact the will of the people' and since the peace CANNOT be created while there is imbalance and subordination - there is therefore an inherent corruption to the concept of government.

Societies that will not be ruled by violence will succumb to societies that are ruled by violence and that impose their rule on peaceful societies.

I do not divide humans into multiple groups such as this - although many people do. I see only one society that is fragmented into groups who hold different ideas. These multiple cultures are mostly just ideas and beliefs imprinted into archetypes, sub-conscious and even un-conscious programs being acted out on the world stage. Change always starts with individuals and eventually those who choose the best and wisest approaches will be found and their ideas shared. Those who choose the wisest paths will become the most powerful, but in a balanced way. Those who seek power and who use overpowering/violence to attempt to enact 'power' will eventually be forced to realise that the highest power is not violent and indeed, there will come a time when those who have chosen benevolence will be so far advanced and so much more aware than those who chose violence, that they will easily be able to defend against all violence.

The fact that we have such an injured populous that is imbalanced and which does not know how to defend against the immense weaponry on the planet (partially made possible through the compartmentalisation empowered by government policies) - is not proof that there is no alternative to a world with violence.

This is how it always was and will always be.

Your mind and imagination are the ink that paints your destiny. If you pain a picture that allows no space for evolution to a reality without violence, then you will never live to find out if one was possible.

Genocides and wars are game theoretic occurrences.
Inevitabilities.

Only while psychopathy goes unhealed.

Wars happen in nature too, they are not restricted to governments or even to humans.

We ARE nature.

It stems from competition, and is not restricted only to humans, or to hierarchical societies or hierarchic species.

government itself is a form of competition, is it not?
