Your post makes a lot of sense @tarazkp. It bothers on insanity what youtubers have to put up with on that platform. A friend of mine who runs a makeup and beauty channel on YouTube complained to me about her inability to get visibility. She also has an instagram account which is linked to YouTube too. I introduced her to steemit but she never came.
It could be that she didn't understand the system or she saw it as too much work but she is not here though. The centralized online businesses have the audience now but it gets to a point when people get fed up with dumping content and getting forked over by such sites. Decentralized content sharing sites are the best bet in the long run and o encourage any content creator to grab the opportunity now.
complication is still a big problem with blockchains and crypto but, that will change in time too.
Those that do will do well, the consumers that do will become high value consumers too.
