What caused me to take a break after 6+ years of near daily 'original' posts?
IF I could answer those questions I might be able to come back and let the words flow from my fingertips for a while longer.
I'm getting closer, this post shows that.
But, the futility of fighting a power that only keeps getting larger because you people keep selling your hive to them, cheap, is weighing heavily on my psyche.
Hive would be 10usd IF folks would stop selling it for less.
The best I have been able to do lately is add value by excerpting important historical works.
I don't know about you, but this has to be more valuable to the chain than endless travel and coffee cake posts.
My readers would certainly vote me rewards for them absent tptb.

It's not those author's fault if they are selected by the powers that be to have excessive rewards bestowed upon them from the whale largess.

As you can see, these 5 accounts hold ~10% of all the hive that exists.
Lord knows how much they hold on the exchanges and in sockpuppets that we can't attribute to them directly.
Somebody is buying all the hive that you are dumping on the exchanges.
Not faulting them, they are the ones that will have to sell to meet growing demand, but they already hold enough power that well over 1 million accounts have bailed from the game.
The futility of overcoming this already determined distribution is a hill most won't climb.

The distribution doesn't favor the spreading out of influence, it favors the already rich getting even richer.
The most powerful only growing in influence.
I'm telling you, people that can math will not buy in, nor even play the game, as long as the futility of prying crumbs from these people is sooo readily obvious.
You'd think 7+ years would be enough to show that too them, but greedy people gonna greed, I guess.
That >10 people would think they know enough to centrally plan an economy for the rest of the entire planet seems a bit presumptuous, to me.
History is littered with failed attempts at doing that.
The plebes have proven that they would rather do without than put up with that crap, time and time, again.
At some point the maliciousness of this 'pinko commie' behavior will become evident for the rest of us, if it hasn't already for most of us.
We can expect continued decreasing interest in putting energy into playing this game.
This state of the union will change when we can convince the newbs to power up and join the crab bucket.
More newbs powering up equals less for the top accounts.

Really, I would like to read your original posts lile this one. I think all we can do is staking more HP and not selling anyone. One must have a considerable HP to survive on this blockchain.

I thought burning Hive helps hive, well at least on Steemit that's what was often said. If so why help them?
The thought had entered my head a few days ago when GP put out that scam alert that maybe those were abandon accounts and somehow it was figured out a way to drain them. Complaining about this play is blowing wind, one reason I say decentralization would actually be worse than centralization. A bunch of hoodlums running wild on everyone. Anyway GP said hurry and change over your recovery account to Hive if you still have steemit as a recovery account. Not that what I have is a big deal but still why let robber barons have it so I go to the link that he said was easy to understand, done in three languages and should get you through the process. Nope. Doesn't work. Came up saying my active key wasn't valid or something of that nature. Thing was it never asked for the active key. Now I guess I'd have to go on Discord which I am not downloading that thing again. The reason I thought about a proposed scam also being a scam is they probably have a way that once accounts have been dumped for years they can use the recovery process to get all those accounts that have hive just sitting there in small amounts add up to a bigger amount because it certainly didn't work out as described. Up late with grand kids, probably not making any sense and should go to bed....lol. Yeah you are burning the midnight oil on this one.

I can appreciate your frustration, while I can't approximate it because I don't have the mental acuity to realize your insights. I am confident you do, since you have them.
I don't think they do. They tend to their wallets. They practice to keep Hive small enough to remain unattractive to bigger fish, which would eat them all up. During the bot wars they gained a few new members they couldn't overwhelm, and shed a few that couldn't maintain. I kinda miss Fyrstikken's rants.
I let folks hungry for money worry about it. I'm just here to speak freely and support those that do. The goodwill of good people is a far more valuable reward, particularly if they are smarter than I and can usefully criticize me, which I reckon you can should you take interest enough to.
You may understand the No Hiding theorem that avers the universe cannot lose information it has gained. While this was devised to reckon with black holes, I note that if it's relevant to them, it's relevant to us, too. Our consciousnesses aren't terminable. We have almost no understanding of consciousness at all, other than that ours are information, which is why they're permanent. The goodwill we have we will take with us after the expiration of our meatbags, and this is the only wealth I have interest in, because it's the only wealth I can keep.
Tokens can only be exchanged over the network we use, and we don't own the network, so we use it at the leave of them that do. I have recently come to understand that any programmable control that can be applied to CBDCs can also be applied to every crypto, by programming the network we must transact with them on. Hive and BTC are just as much CBDCs as Putin's new digital Ruble.

Well, I don't really know much but I can see some people powering down. Maybe they do not have hope in Hive. Who knows? They are selling Hive in cheap prices which may not be very nice...
I don't have so much Hive power but I'm keeping it for future use especially when the price goes up
I actually have a free class where I teach people how to make more with hive with an emphasis on teaching them how to trade and invest.
Right now I am actually getting daily payments that some people I know could actually live on! Keep saving and investing and you might be able to do this as well!
