Social networks have given us a greater opportunity to reach people and make us listen.
Personally, I see it as something very positive. But, unfortunately, it has unleashed the fury of many. Many believe that some things should not be said because of their ability to offend certain groups.
Today we can find a mob of netizens, who are hidden from the physical world telling others what is allowed to say and what is not.
This has been transcended to a higher level and some of the most influential people have supported this new precept.
It seems that today the mass advocates for quiet citizens, only saying what is attached to the "right", that does not mobilize any group of high sensitivity.
Even the truth must be silent, because sometimes truth hurts feelings.
It seems that the world of the hypocrites has to arrive due to the fear of the citizens to be rejected by the society that chooses the path of no offense, of condescension, of acting according to the new rules of coexistence.
Freedom of expression can be frowned upon, it can hurt, but it is also the one that shows who we are, what happens to us, what we feel, what we think. If a person expresses himself in a free way, he shows us his interior, which we may like or not, but that is a subject for later.
We can choose between having a new inquisition where the truths constructed by a collective are the only versions to verbalize or a world where there is the freedom to say what we feel and think.
