I was not surprised by Trump's latest move regarding social media considering the overall election campaign. He is going to pass on presidential order which could place many social media companies in spotlight for content published on their platform.
This could make things worse because suppose it this is implemented then we could witness more censorship and controlled social media. I am not sure what this means for blockchain social media like Hive but possibly Hive.blog and Peakd.com could also come under fire due to it.
Previously, all the social media platforms were just acting as medium to post anything as long as you don't violate their rules.
Twitter has now shown that everything we have been saying about them (and their other compatriots) is correct. Big action to follow!
