Thanks for last week. This week (I'm into riddles):

  1. A glove - Its shaped like a hand but not a living hand.
  2. A computer keyboard has keys; two of which are space and enter
  3. A shadow which is the result of obstruction of light and isn't there without it.

1. A Glove - It meets the criteria of the riddle. No living creature, just an item made by human :-)
2. A keyboard - it has keys, one of them being space, other enter without their other meaning.
3. The shadow - They are formed when objects are obstructing the light. If other source came from other direction will light the "shadow" area and it will not be visible anymore (the shadow is not going anywhere, it is just a difference in brightness on a surface).

I tried to answer without reading the 1 comment till now.

I think at some point answers can't be so different :-) but it is fun.
So, maybe will find you again in posts.

Cheers

I like this idea. Resteemed.

A glove ---- It has four fingers and a thumb but is not living.
You are a keyboard ---- You have keys, including a space and enter key.
You are a shadow ---- You are formed from light shining onto another object, but disappear when light is shone directly onto where you form.

Thanks for the contest!

  1. A dead mans hand - it fits criteria like a glove <see what I did there (I definitely answered this, just not within your cookie cutter
  2. A keyboard - it has both space bar and enter keys on them. only issue with this riddle is there are locks CAPS, #, Scroll etc. However I couldn't think of an alt. answer.
  3. A shadow - being that a shadow can only be present by obstructing rays of light and will vanish the second light hits it.
Pt. 2 - However, an alternate answer could be the (position or location) of an atom. When photons "light" come in contact with an atom its position is then altered. This would meet the criteria and by rules of engagement, would not be considered wrong.
  1. Hand glove: a hand glove is a non-living thing (object) with four finger hole and a thumb hole.
  2. A keyboard (computer keyboard): it has all alphabets (keys) but no key hole, a space-bar (but has no room for accommodation) and the enter key.
  3. A shadow: which is formed on the opposite direction of which light falls on a body.
  1. A Glove - 4 fingers and a thumb, but not a living thing.
  2. A keyboard - 2 keys, space and enter :p
  3. The shadow - Light causes shadow, but it disappears if light shines upon it..
    Simple.
