I was introduced by someone I follow on Twitter, that posted daily about how great it was. At first I was not interested but in time he got to me 😂 Once I started, I found it almost addicting. I had to take a little break, so I left it for about 4 days and now I am back and looking forward to continuing on this steemit journey.
I was introduced to Steemit by my partner, whose friend was earning lots of money on it. My introduction post did well, but all of my posts since have earned a few cents, so I realised very quickly that I was not going to earn lots of money on it. Or any money at all... 😂
I feel a little out of place on this platform, as I know nothing about cryptocurrency and people here are always talking about it. But that's okay. I now see Steemit as a place for me to practice my blog writing skills and sound off on the issues that are close to my heart.
Welcome. The way I look at it, it's better to get something for my efforts online, rather than watch the content I create, taken for free and getting lots of advertising thrown at me in return.

How did I end up on Steemit? Well, by accident I guess. I was directed to check out Jerry Banfield's website. I did. And that is where I learned about Steemit. I'm still learning about investing in Crypto. It takes up so much time. So, I taking baby steps right now toward my learning goals of cryptocurrency.

Yes, it's a very interesting model. Biggest threat to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
