I was a kid, my Aunt taught there, we stayed in a little village of mud huts, no joking, we had the only cement structure for living in. Saw things no tourist ever see...was quite an experience.

Do you know exactly where you were there? I have an internet friend with a B&B on Lake Atitlan.
It was near Zacapa, but we went everywhere, Lake Atitlan, Livingston, a really cool town Chichicastenango was at the top of a mountain, and Guatemala city, I have a ton of pics, but all b&w prints. Think it was 1972.
I'm playing with the new camera.
Teased me with that comment before....I'm expecting big things from you...lol
What did you get?
I have the right memory for it now. I got a Canon SX620 HS. (And I'm still figuring it out.) My first Canon camera.
This is the first camera I've had where when you point it out a window, you can get a photo of the screen! I might need to be upgraded to use it!
haha...we all need upgrading
